We know its the little things that make the difference to great holiday accommodation. Small home comforts like a freshly made bed or a hot cup of tea, all add to a happy holiday. We will answer all your questions before you book, therefore making sure you get what you expect and more. Most of all, you will have space and comfort; your suite will be bigger than any other chalet bedroom.
Suites are an average of 37m², around 375 sq feet, and are all fitted with en-suite bathrooms. Half of them have full-sized baths, perfect for a long soak, in addition to a shower over; the others all have big showers. The suites have comfortable beds that can be either a double or two singles. Some have two bedrooms sharing a bathroom; all have kitchens, therefore our accommodation is both spacious and flexible. If there are just two of you in a suite you will have masses of space with a sofa and coffee table to relax. Make a cup of tea in your own kitchen and put your feet up. Browse a book from our library.
The south-facing suites have a magnificent view over the valley to the mountains; its an inspiring and uplifting way to start the day or simply enjoy during a well deserved break.
In the summer, with the windows open you can hear the stream below the house and the birds in the forest, in the afternoon the wind blows gently.
We know food is a major part of any holiday and ours is designed with your enjoyment in mind. Start the day with a hearty breakfast buffet, bacon and eggs cooked to order, and set yourself up for a day on the mountain. Recovery pasta meals are available in summer, tea and cakes in winter.
Our dinners are tasty and well-cooked, our house wines are carefully chosen AOC quality and also very good value. We also have a personally chosen list of fine wines for those extra special occasions. We are active supporters of Slow Food and take our time in sourcing, preparing and eating our food.
